Learning, Connection & Growth through Capability Collective

Community Trust South is excited to share a packed programme of capability-building opportunities for community organisations across Southland, Whakatipu and West Otago through the Capability Collective. 

While funding remains an important part of our support, we know thriving communities also rely on strong, capable organisations. That's why we're continuing to invest in opportunities that help community groups build skills, strengthen leadership, enhance governance and create more sustainable organisations. 

Over the next six months, the Capability Collective will bring together a range of practical workshops, Lunch & Learn sessions, networking opportunities and resources designed specifically for the community sector. 

The programme covers topics including governance, financial management, volunteer engagement, sustainable funding, social media, asset management, human resources and Te Reo Māori. Whether you're a board member, volunteer, manager or community leader, there are opportunities to develop new skills, connect with others and gain practical tools you can take back to your organisation. 

More than a calendar of events, the Capability Collective is about bringing people together to share knowledge, learn from one another and strengthen the wider community sector. By investing in capability and fostering collaboration, we're helping build stronger organisations that can continue delivering positive outcomes for the people and communities they serve.
