Erin Moogan has been appointed as a Trustee for a four-year term. Erin brings more than 20 years of leadership and governance experience spanning law and public policy, infrastructure, asset management and strategic programme delivery. As New Zealand President of the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia, she has a strong track record of leading initiatives that deliver positive outcomes for communities at both regional and national levels.

The Trust is also pleased to continue its commitment to developing future community leaders through its Trustee Internship Programme, with Ethan Flack appointed as Trust Intern. Ethan is a talented Southland chef, community leader and Chair of the Scott Richardson Memorial Trust, with a passion for supporting young people and strengthening community connections. Through the programme, he will further develop his governance capability while contributing fresh perspectives and insights into Board discussions.
Joining the Community Trust South team as Funding Advisor is Mihiterina Frazer-Hita. In this role, she will work alongside community groups, grant seekers and scholarship applicants, helping them navigate funding opportunities and application processes. Mihiterina brings strong relationship-building skills, extensive community connections, and a genuine commitment to supporting the people and organisations that strengthen the Trust's communities
