Good governance is the foundation of a strong and sustainable not-for-profit organisation. This free one-day workshop is designed to help trustees, aspiring board members, senior leaders, and anyone working with not-for-profit boards develop the knowledge and confidence needed to govern effectively.
Participants will gain a practical understanding of governance principles, board roles and responsibilities, legal and regulatory requirements, board culture and ethics, effective board meetings, and productive board–management relationships. The course also explores board composition, succession planning, and the processes that support sound decision-making and organisational oversight.
Ideal for both new and experienced board members, this workshop provides a solid grounding in not-for-profit governance and equips participants with the tools needed to strengthen leadership, accountability, and long-term impact within their organisation
