SmartyGrants - Important Update
There have been some exciting updates with SmartyGrants - our online grant application portal.
Smarty File
Smarty File is a tool that has been introduced for grant seekers of an organisation. It allows you to create a profile for your organisation which then allows you to:
- collaborate with others on your applications and accountability
- set up multiple team members as users for your organisation with different access levels
- pre-fill organisational and contact information into application and accountability forms
- archive old applications and delete draft applications
- change the user of an application
- manage, view, search and sort your applications
To create your Smarty File, please visit https://app.smartyfile.com.au and use your SmartyGrants user details to log in.
Please note that a NZ Business Number (NZBN) is required to create a profile for your organisation. If you are already an incorporated society or a registered charity you will already have a NZBN.
If you are not sure how to find your NZBN please visit https://www.nzbn.govt.nz/.
Smarty File is an optional feature of SmartyGrants, so if you apply for grants as an individual and/or do not collaborate with others on your applications you will not need to use it.
My Submissions
The 'My Submissions' page on our SmartyGrants applicant site also has additional functionality with this update, and the page may look a little different when you next log in.
With the update you will be able to:
- delete unsubmitted applications
- archive applications
- sort applications by due date, application number, round, project title, submitted date or status
- search with basic and advanced options
- minimise or expand an application to view related forms
